6ft tall abstract color field painting by Lauren Jane Berger. Inspired by summer weekends in nature and the desire to release inhibitions. For this painting, I channeled the bright shock and frigid bliss of entering a cold pool of ice melt in the California mountains. One of three paintings I created for group exhibition in East Hollywood in August 2025.
